Osrs Best In Slot

In OSRS, the glove slot has a wide range of useful content.

  1. Tormented Bracelet. The Tormented Bracelet is closing into the top of our list, and certainly fits as the best in slot bracelet for Magic in OSRS. This bracelet has an awesome magic attack bonus of +10, and a magic damage of 5%. So this is absolutely required for content such as Chambers of Xeric.
  2. Melee armour is used in the Attack, Strength and Defence skills. It provides low Magic defence bonuses and high Ranged defence bonuses. Wearing melee armour will hinder a player's accuracy with the other combat styles, Magic being affected more than Ranged.

There are gloves and bracelets that assist you in almost every skill, some with extremely unique uses and effects.

Best in slot armour for combat training Helmet slot. Neitiznot Faceguard/Helm of Neitiznot Berserker Helm Obsidian Helm. All three helmets give you a +3 strength bonus, the neitiznot faceguard gives a +6 strength bonus. When doing slayer, the slayer helmet will always be best-in-slot. Bandos Chestplate Fighter Torso Obsidian.

Many of the gloves in OSRS are instrumental for training certain skills, and will often save you a ton of time and money too. And with an almost 2500-hour grind to get the max cape, you’ll want to maximize your grind as much as possible.

With so much to pick, how can you even know where to start? Don’t worry, your personal glove inspector is here to let you know what’s hot and what’s not!

15. Gloves of Silence

These gloves are pretty, well… silent!

The gloves of Silence are used by the most nimble of thieves in Gielinor to pick the pockets of unsuspecting NPC’s with ease.

These gloves will reduce your failure rate while pickpocketing by 5%. And this’ll increase not only the amount of loot you get per hour, but also your experience.

Just note that once you’ve finished the Ardougne Elite Diary, these gloves will no longer function, as the diary provides a 10% permanent boost to pickpocketing which does not stack with the gloves.

Osrs

How to get: Making these gloves only requires two dark kebbit furs and 600 coins, all of which must be taken to the fancy dress shop in Varrock. To wear these gloves you’ll need a minimum of level 54 Hunter.

14. Bracelet of Slaughter

Have you ever gotten a Slayer task that you wish lasted longer?

Well with the Bracelet of Slaughter, this can now be a reality!

While wearing this on a Slayer task, you have a 25% chance of your current kill not counting towards your total task, while still getting all of the experience!

This is especially useful when hunting certain items from Slayer bosses like Cerberus or Hydra.

And for maximum efficiency here, it’s advised to only wear the bracelet for the last hit of the kill to maximize your DPS.

How to get: The bracelet is made by enchanting a Topaz bracelet, requiring level 49 magic.

13. Bracelet of Ethereum

Now this bracelet is unique in that it’s only useful in one area in the entire game: the Revenant Caves in the Wilderness.

The Bracelet of Ethereum must be charged with ether, and any damage done by Revenants in the cave is reduced by 75%, with one charge of ether being utilized per an attack.

The bracelet is a fairly common drop from Revenants, but be wary, as this item is always lost on death.

So be very careful with how much ether you charge it with!

Ultimately, Revenants have a great drop table. And reduced damage there is essential if you want to camp for a rare drop like a Craws Bow. Watch out for Pkers!

How to get: Common drop from Revenants

12. Superior Mining Gloves

These gloves are the upgraded version of the Mining Gloves, and are insanely useful!

When mining certain rocks, there’s a chance that the ore will be obtained while the rock isn’t depleted. This means you save on time since you don’t need to wait for the ore to respawn!

This effect is especially great for mining Rune Ore, as there’s roughly a 12.5% chance of a Rune ore not being depleted.

How to get: You can obtain these gloves from The Mining Guild. They’re purchased from Belona for 60 unidentified minerals, as well as your original mining gloves.

11. Chaos Gauntlets

Completing the “Family Crest” quest will unlock these powerful mid-level magic gauntlets.

When equipped, all bolts spells get an increased maximum hit of +3, which is a really massive boost.

For context, that would put the max hit of any of the bolt spells only 1 point behind their respective blast spell counterparts.

This is great, as you can almost do the same DPS for a much lower cost, and at a lower magic level.

You’ll find these useful to use at places with monsters weak to magic, like Steel Dragons or Blue Dragons, or in areas where you want to safe spot.

How to get: take the steel gauntlets you receive from the quest to Johnathon at the Jolly Boar Inn located just outside Varrock. He’ll also require 25k to charge them for you.

10. Karamja Gloves (4)

Karamja Gloves 4 are locked behind the elite Karamja Diary, but are well worth the grind.

The gloves offer an extra 10% agility experience when completing obstacles in the Brimhaven Agility Arena, plus a small discount on costs within the Tzhaar city, and discounts at the Karamja General Store.

And they offer free unlimited teleports to the gem mine and the Slayer Master Duradel.

Almost all of those bonuses can be unlocked before the elite diary, except the Duradel teleport.

How to get: You can claim these gloves from Pirate Jackie the Fruit at the Brimhaven agility course once you’ve made progress on the diary.

9. Cooking Gauntlets

These are another pair of gloves that are unlocked by completing the “Family Crest’ Quest.

Wearing these gloves will lower the rate of how often you burn fish – and it’s lowered by a very significant margin.

For example, lobsters normally stop burning once you reach level 74 cooking. But with the Cooking Gauntlets, this drops to only level 64 cooking.

Ultimately these gloves will save you a ton of time, since you can ensure your fish are cooked to perfection much sooner.

How to get: Obtain these by taking your steel gauntlets from the quest to Caleb in Catherby, who will charge you 25k to charge these up for you.

8. Combat Bracelet

This bracelet has a bit of a reputation in the OSRS community, as it’s often worn by players who don’t want to quest for the superior Barrows Gloves, and settle for the combat bracelet (which has no quest requirement to wear).

While the bracelet has some decent bonuses, most people use this for its built-in teleports.

This can take you to the Warriors Guild, Champions Guild, Edgeville Monastery, and the Ranging Guild.

Also just note that the Combat Bracelet typically only has 4 charges, and will then need to be recharged at the Legends Guild.

How to get: Enchant a Dragonstone Bracelet at level 78 Magic.

7. Goldsmith Gauntlets

Here’s the last of the “Family Crest” Quest gloves, and my personal favorite.

The Goldsmith Gauntlets double the experience received from smelting gold ores, up from 22.5 experience to 56.2 experience per ore.

With this effect in mind, the gloves are often used by players all the way to 99 Smithing.

Blast Furnace experience rates of almost 300k per an hour are not unheard of.

How to get: Take your steel gauntlets from the quest to Avan in the Al Kharid mine, and he’ll charge you 25k to charge these up for you.

6. 3rd Age Vambraces

As with most 3rd age items, the vambraces are fairly expensive, and are often seen as a flex item.

These vambraces, however, offer the second highest range bonus for vambraces in OSRS. And are a good alternative for prayers who do not possess Barrows Gloves, such as pures.

They also carry a decent magic defense bonus of +9 which could prove useful in tanking.

How to get: You can only obtain these via elite and master clues, but a far easier alternative is to buy them on the Grand Exchange.

5. Regen Bracelet

The Regen Bracelet is very unique in that it has no requirement to equip, it has better combat stats than the Combat Bracelet, and it has a special effect.

This special effect doubles the player’s natural ability to heal from 1 hitpoint per minute, increasing it to +2 hitpoints per minute.

This effect also stacks with the Hitpoints Skill Cape and the Prayer, Rapid Heal.

This can effectively quadruple natural healing.

The Regen Bracelet has some niche uses too, such as for agility training or thieving. It’s very popular amongst 1 defense pures.

How to get: Enchant an Onyx Bracelet which requires level 87 Magic.

4. Dragon Gloves

Dragon Gloves are the second best you can buy from the Culinaromancer’s Chest during the quest Recipe for Disaster.

Many players buy these while on their way to get the Barrows Gloves, as the Dragon Gloves only require 107 Quest points, while the Barrows Gloves require 175 Quest Points.

Stat-wise these are strong, offering +9 in almost every area except for a +5 in magic.

Aesthetically they’re very pleasing, and make a full dragon set look absolutely amazing.

Those of you looking for a new fashionscape item will definitely want to check these out.

How to get: You can buy these in the chest in Lumbridge Basement at a certain point in the “Recipe for Disaster” Quest.

3. Tormented Bracelet

Like with all Zeynte jewelry, a high level of 75 Hitpoints is required to wear this – with the addition of level 75 Magic.

The bracelet is targeted at end-game players, and as a result, carries with it some very high requirements.

How to get: You’ll need to enchant a Zeynte Bracelet, requiring level 93 in magic. Alternatively you can buy the bracelet from the Grand Exchange for around 10m. These are certainly not cheap.

2. Ferocious Gloves

Holding the title for best in slot melee gloves, the Ferocious Gloves require a very high attack and defense level of 80 to wield.

They offer +16 in all melee offensive styles, and a +14 strength bonus.

Just be wary of the negative range and mage bonus, as these are not designed to be used for those styles.

These gloves are mostly used for high level PvM and Slayer.

How to get: You’ll need to use a Hydra Leather on a pair of Barrows Gloves. The Hydra leather is only obtainable from the Alchemical Hydra at a 1/512 drop rate.

1. Barrows Gloves

Barrows Gloves are easily the most popular gloves in the game. And getting a pair is often the first step in entering the end game of OSRS.

They offer +12 in every single offensive and defensive stat except a +6 in magic, making them the all-around best gloves for almost any style.

While they don’t dominate in any particular area, the bonuses allow any player to use them for content requiring multiple attack styles – such as Chamber of Xeric and DKS.

I personally recommend making these a goal to get, as they’re 100% worth it.

How to get: Complete the Recipe for Disaster quest, which is the longest quest in the game, made up of 10 sub-quests and a ton of requirements.

The ring slot in OSRS has a ton of variety.

There are skilling rings, combat rings, and even joke rings. There’s a ring that turns you into a rock, seriously.

Some of these rings are ridiculously good. So much so that you wouldn’t be able to do certain content efficiently without them!

And that means the ring slot is an extremely important one to get right for your character’s build.

15. Ring of Wealth (i)

Ring of Wealth imbued is a really nifty little ring.

While it has no stats buffs to boast of, it has a variety of really cool effects.

When worn, it’ll automatically pick up all coins and numulite dropped by enemies, and place them straight into your inventory.

When imbued, it also has the added benefit of doubling the chance of a clue scroll drop when in the wilderness.

This can be really great when farming Hellhounds for hard clues.

This ring also helps you get better loot from the rare drop table when it’s randomly rolled.

Lastly, there are four built-in teleports which can take you to The Grand Exchange, Falador Park, Donakan, and Miscellania.

How to Get: You‘ll need to craft a Dragonstone ring and imbue it. This requires level 68 magic and 55 crafting.

14. Ring of Life

Used almost exclusively by Hardcore Ironmen, this ring might do as the name suggests… save your life!

If your health ever drops below 10% while this ring is worn, it’ll automatically teleport you to your respawn spot.

But this won’t work if you’re above 10% and get hit for all of your hitpoints, so be wary!

This teleport also won’t work above level 30 wilderness, or if teleblocked. And once the ring’s effect is used, it will crumble into dust.

How to Get: A quest reward from completing “The lost tribe”. Or you can craft and enchant a diamond ring, requiring level 57 magic and 43 crafting.

13. Celestial Ring

Here we’ve got basically the newest ring in OSRS, and our first F2P obtainable ring on this list!

The Celestial Ring offers an invisible +4 level Mining boost, which works everywhere if you’re wearing it.

The ring also has a 1/10 chance of providing you with an extra ore, up to adamant, on any rock. This does not work at Motherload mine, though. So you’ll only get the mining boost here.

You can also combine the Celestial Ring with an Elven Signet, and obtain the effects of the signet, with at least level 70 Crafting and Smithing.

How to Get: Buy this from Susuri’s Star Dust Shop for 2k stardust.

12. Ring of the gods (i)

This ring possesses the highest prayer bonus in the entire game in the ring slot.

It has a massive +8 prayer bonus, and also incorporates the effects of a holy wrench.

Besides this, it offers minimal protection with a +1 in all defensive stats.

The ring is largely used by those trying to maximize their prayer bonus, and on prayer-heavy builds only.

How to Get: A drop from Vet’tion. You can then imbue it at Soul Wars or Nightmare Zone.

11. Granite Ring (i)

Granite Rings are designed to be medium level rings with basic melee defensive bonuses of +4.

However, this does have a substantial +16 range defence bonus.

Ultimately, this ring is not used much. And has a very low street value of 30k.

The reason it takes this spot is because some Pk’ers like to use it to buff their defence, as it’s cheap to obtain in relation the level of protection it provides.

Note: you’ll need a minimum of level 50 defence and strength to wear this ring.

How to Get: This is dropped by the Grotesque Guardians in the Slayer Tower.

10. Warrior Ring

As the first of the four rings dropped by the Dagannoth Kings, the Warrior Ring is often viewed as the worst of the lot .

Why?

Because it only provides a minimal slash bonus of +4 in attack and defence.

It’s only worth about 30-40k on the Grand Exchange, and like the granite ring, is only really used occasionally by Pk’ers looking to get an edge with some cheap-to-obtain gear.

How to Get: This is dropped by Dagannoth Rex at a 1/128 drop rate.

9. Eternal Slayer Ring

Here’s another non-combat ring for this list.

The Eternal Slayer Ring offers no stat changes, but is purely for teleports. And it works great!

Most slayer rings offer a maximum of 8 teleports to various locations. The eternal ring offers an unlimited amount of teleports, meaning you never need to obtain more.

The ring can teleport you to various slayer locations, such as The Slayer Tower, Fremennik Slayer Cave, Tarn’s Lair, Stronghold Slayer Cave, and to Dark beasts in the mourners tunnels.

Just note that some of these locations will need to be unlocked before use.

How to Get: Use an Eternal Gem on a slayer ring to create the Eternal Slayer Ring. The gems are rare drops from superior slayer monsters.

8. Treasonous Ring (i)

Now this ring offers the highest stab bonus of any ring in OSRS, with a +8 offensive and defensive bonus.

It’s not the most used ring, though, as there are better alternatives.

But it has seen use against monsters weak to stab, such as dragons and Corporeal Beast.

It also isn’t too expensive at 500k – making it much more affordable than other rings here.

How to Get: Dropped by the Wilderness boss Venenatis a rate of 1/512.

7. Elven Signet

The Elven Signet is a very useful non-combat ring, offering a 10% chance not to use a charge when using any crystal equipment – this includes the upgraded Blade of Saeldor.

There are a variety of crystal items in the game, Examples are like the crystal pickaxe, axe, harpoon, bow, and shield.

This ring would be most useful for the pickaxe or harpoon, which are both used in skilling activity.

Crystal Shards can be a pain to get, though. So this signet is a godsend for skillers who heavily rely on their crystal tools.

How to Get: Only obtainable from Crystal Implings which only spawn in Prifddinas. You will need a minimum of level 80 hunter to catch them.

6. Tyrannical Ring (i)

The Tyrannical Ring is another Wilderness boss ring with an impressive crush offensive and defensive bonus of +8.

This ring is often carried as a switch so players can wear it when using their Dragon Warhammer special attack.

This is because the Warhammer relies heavily on crush bonuses to land a hit.

Osrs Best In Slot Cape

The only negative to this ring is its lack of strength bonus, which turns many players away from using it as a main ring.

How to Get: A rare drop from Calisto who resides in the Wilderness. It drops at a rate of 1/512.

5. Ring of Endurance

This ring is probably the hardest to get in the entire game. And it’s also the most expensive on this list.

The Ring of Endurance requires a minimum of level 70 agility to wear, and is charged with Stamina Potions.

So first off, this ring restores 40% of your run energy, and doubles the effect of a stamina potion.

And secondly, provided you have more than 500 charges, it’ll reduce your run energy drain rate by 15%. That’s pretty handy!

These effects make the Ring of Endurance extremely useful in places where you need to run constantly, such as at Blast Furnace, or when facing Commander Zilyana.

How to Get: You’ll need a minimum of 92 Agility to attempt the final floor of the Hallowed Sepulchre, and successfully loot the Grand Hallowed Coffin. This is no easy feat, and the drop rate is 1/200.

Osrs Best In Slot Gear

4. Brimstone ring

The Brimstone ring is basically the “Barrows Gloves” of rings.

It offers attack and defence bonuses in all areas of +4, with magic getting +6. It even has a cheeky strength bonus of +4 to boot.

Basically, this offers all of the DKS rings stats combined into a single ring! And this is for the un-imbued rings only.

The Brimstone ring also has an amazing passive effect, which makes it one of the best in slot rings for magic.

The effect makes it so that whenever a user casts an offensive spell against a target, there’s a 25% chance that the opponent’s defensive roll will be reduced by 90%.

This means you’ll hit harder and more consistently.

How to Get: Only obtainable by getting its three component drops from the Alchemical Hydra, which requires a minimum of a very high 95 slayer to kill.

3. Archers Ring (i)

As the second of the DKS rings, the Archers Ring is the Best in slot range ring.

It offers a +8 range attack and defence bonus.

This ring is used literally everywhere rangers go, as it beats any other ring for range attack.

Common locations include DKS, Cerberus, Armadyl (GWD), Saradomin (GWD), Giant mole with a Twisted Bow, slayer tasks, and much more!

The ring is also one of the more expensive of the 4 DKS rings, with a street value of around 3.7m.

How to Get: A drop from Dagannoth Supreme at a rate of 1/128. Since Supreme isn’t too tough to kill, it’s not too difficult to get this drop early on in the game at around 90 combat.

2. Ring of Suffering (i)

As the ultimate defensive ring on this list, this is absolutely god-like for certain situations – and a must have.

This ring has no offensive stats, but has a massive +20 in every single defensive stat.

This is ridiculously useful for almost every single solo boss situation, because the damage mitigated is substantially.

It even has a +4 prayer bonus, which makes this baby even sweeter!

The Ring of Suffering gets even better with its built-in effect. You can charge it with up to 100,000 charges from rings of recoil, about 2.5k rings, and the Ring of Suffering will act as a ring of recoil.

Plus this effect can be turned on and off at will.

With this effect in mind, the ring is basically a requirement for Zulrah, as the recoil effect will kill the snakelings for you with no issue.

Any solo PvM like Bandos or Zamorak God War Dungeon trips will also require you to be tanky, and this ring provides support for just that!

Get this ring now. Don’t even think about it. It’s worth the price tag.

How to Get: Enchant a Zeynte ring, which requires level 93 magic to enchant and level 89 crafting to craft. Alternatively you can buy this on the Grand Exchange for about 10.5m.

1. Berserker Ring (i)

As the very best of the best when it comes to melee, this ring provides no offensive bonuses and a +8 crush defence bonus, with a massive +8 strength bonus!.

Strength is all we care about here. Because everyone is trying to increase their max hits, and the Berserker Ring does it better than any other.

More strength equals more damage per second. And as a result, this is the primary ring of most melee combat.

It’s also the primary ring used in The Theatre of Blood for this exact reason.

Best In Slot Range Gear Osrs

This holds true for both PvM and PvP, where the ring is insanely popular. Most pures and main accounts in PvP will risk this ring.

How to Get: Obtainable as a drop from Dagannoth Rex at a rate of 1/128. Rex is also the easiest of the 3 to kill since you can safespot him.
